About this ride

A loop from Palma to one of the quietest corners of the Tramuntana: the high valley of Orient. It starts and finishes at La Molienda Arxiduc, a short walk north of Plaça d’Espanya.

The first 15 km are a gentle climb across the plain to Bunyola. From the village the Coll d’Honor climbs 6 km at an average of 5.6 %, up to about 550 m. It starts easily and gets steadier, with the last four kilometres between 6 and 7 %.

Over the col the road rolls along the valley to Orient, a small hamlet among fields and orchards, then descends towards Alaró. From there the route heads back across the plain through Santa Maria del Camí to Palma: 57 km and about 690 m of climbing in all.

There is no coffee stop on this site between Palma and the finish yet, so take what you need with you.
