Why stop here
L’Epicerie is on the Carretera d’Artà, on the southern edge of Alcúdia, and it is where the Coll de sa Batalla ride finishes. After the climb from Caimari, the long descent towards Pollença and the coast road round the bay, it is the place to sit down with a proper coffee.
It is a bakery as well as a café, so it also works for a breakfast stop if you ride the route the other way or set off from the Alcúdia side.
